Guernsey UFO Caught on Film!

As far as I know, this is the only photograph of one of the mile long objects recently seen in the UK. The photo/photoshop analysis starts at 1:15 but the entire video is worth watching.

Deep Hole Found on Mars!

This isn't UFO related but it is very intriguing. NASA has discovered a very dark spot on Mars that could be an entrance to a deep hole or cavern.

The geological oddity measures some 330 feet (100 meters) across and is located on an otherwise bright dusty lava plain to the northeast of Arsia Mons, one of the four giant Tharsis volcanoes on the red planet.

The hole might be the sort of place that could support life or serve as a habitat for future astronauts, researchers speculated.

1997 Netherlands UFO

In 1997, a Piper Archer pilot in the Netherlands witnessed a phenomena he had never seen before and he couldn't explain. This thrilling recording of his communication with the control tower is the physical evidence of that event, supplied with subtitles and photos of the area and plane. Other circumstancial evidence is provided by the military that cleared the air in that region and afterwards had no explanation for what happened.

March 2007 Sighting

A recent sighting filmed from a moving truck. Doesn't look like a plane to me. Blimp? UFO? Not really sure.

New sighting! - Two experienced UK airline pilots on separate flights saw something up to a mile wide off the coast of Alderney on April 23, 2007.

Dying star forms symmetrical Red Square nebula

Ok, in the not UFO related but wicked cool department: Shown in infrared - the nebula resembles a giant, glowing red box in the sky, with a bright white inner core. A dying star called MWC 922 is located at the system's center and spewing its innards from opposite poles into space.

NASA STS-114 UFO Video

The film below is from shuttle mission STS-114. The video is roughly 3 minutes long but for those of you that are in a hurry the UFO makes its entrance 2:20 minutes into the video (roughly 1 minute of film left). The object very clearly enters the frame in the lower right hand corner and then darts across the visible space. Then it very clearly changes direction and heads off into the distance. Definitely worth a look.
